Pediatric Infectious Diseases

Infectious Diseases or Infections is the invasion of a body tissue affected by a disease causing microbes or bacteria’s followed by other Infection. It is a well-known fact that most of the infectious diseases are transmissible diseases or say communicable diseases which results in illness.




Pediatric also spelled as Paediatrics is the branch of medicine inherited specially for Children’s care, Infants and Adolescents. The difference between adult and paediatric medicine is the body size followed by the maturation changes. Neonatology is a sub-division of pediatrics concerned about the medical care of new born infants specially the premature babies. Neonatologist’s principle patients are new-born infants who require special care due to illness, low birth weight, birth defects, sepsis and other infections.
